BAKA pro­tect 3D is the sys­tem of hinges designed for wooden outer doors. Each part of the hinge is meant to per­form a spe­cific func­tion The bod­ies of hinges mounted at the top and bot­tom of doors allow one to adjust side clear­ance and the clamp­ing force (A) whereas the mid-​height hinge is used to adjust sus­pen­sion height (H) and side clearance.

RELEAS­ING OF THE LOCK­ING STUD

  • Undo the clamp­ing bolts no 1.
  • Move the pro­tect­ing plate no 6 towards the door leaf.
  • Tighten no 1 the the clamp­ing bolts.
  • Knock out no 7 the stud.

ADJUST­MENT OF E CLEARANCE

  • Slightly undo 2 clamp­ing bolts no 1 of all the hinges in the leaf part of the door.
  • Adjust the set­ting of the con­trol bolt with use of the hexag­o­nal socket wrench SW 4 no 2. Rota­tion anti­clock­wise – move­ment of the door leaf towards the lock (max. 3 mm). Rota­tion clock­wise – move­ment towards the hinges (max. 3 mm).
  • Retighten the clamp­ing bolts no 1.

ADJUST­MENT OF THE DOOR HEIGHT

  • Slightly undo clamp­ing bolts no 3 of all the hinges in the jamb part of the door.
  • Owing to the tech­nol­ogy based on the cir­cu­lar cam prin­ci­ple the door height can be adjusted at the mid-​height hinge H no 4 with use of a hexag­o­nal socket wrench SW 4 within the max­i­mum range of 3 mm.
  • Retighten the clamp­ing bolts no 3 in the jamb part of the door.

ADJUST­MENT OF THE CLAMP­ING FORCE

  • Slightly undo clamp­ing bolts no 3 of all the hinges in the jamb part of the door.
  • Owing to the tech­nol­ogy based on the cir­cu­lar cam prin­ci­ple the clamp­ing force can be adjusted with hinges A no 5, at the top and bot­tom of the door with use of a hexag­o­nal socket wrench SW 4 within the max­i­mum range of 4 mm.
  • Retighten the clamp­ing bolts no 3 in the jamb part of the door.
