40 years and more. These are more than realistic expectations regarding the longevity of high quality wood windows. Wood windows offer the advantage that they can always be repaired, as opposed to windows made of other materials.

Damage to wood can be repaired. Even individual elements of the frame or sash can be replaced. There is no need to immediately buy a new window! The reliability of windows is ensured by high quality brand-name hardware from German manufacturers, whose products can be bought at any given time.

Longevity of windows is dependant on the quality of the individual components used in their manufacture and professional carpentry finish, but also on the later reliable and consistent care for the final product on the part of the end-user.
