We coat doors using high-​quality water-​soluble paints from the Ger­man com­pany SIKKENS. On request, we can paint any colour accord­ing to the RAL palette (PDF file).

We also rec­om­mend inte­rior doors that are oil-​treated and with a patina. The beau­ti­ful, nat­ural look is achieved by hand rub­bing the sur­face of the wood with an oil for wood.
